By creating an account, chatting with characters, or acquiring subscription tokens, you agree to these legally binding Terms with Aurytale AI Technologies.
1. Service Description & Eligibility
Aurytale provides an interactive, neural AI character conversation and roleplaying environment, featuring responsive dialogue models, customizable character lore, and persistent episodic memory graphs. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old where mandated by local law) to use this Service.
2. User Accounts & Compute Quotas
Certain high-performance neural modes, unlimited memory indexing, and VIP voice synthesizers require an active subscription tier or token package:
- Interaction Tokens: Tokens represent a license to utilize conversational compute capacity. Tokens are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for legal tender.
- Subscriptions & Renewals: Paid recurring plans (Weekly, Monthly, Annual) automatically renew through the authorized app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) unless turned off at least 24 hours prior to the close of the current billing period.
- Cancellation & Refunds: Because GPU computing clusters incur immediate infrastructure costs upon each token generated, consumed quotas are non-refundable, except where required by statutory consumer regulations or platform rules.
3. Intellectual Property Rights & Character Ownership
We champion your creative authorship:
- User-Created Personas & Prompts: You retain all proprietary rights, copyright, and ownership over the original character descriptions, dialogue prompts, and scenario lore you upload or craft in Aurytale.
- Generated Dialogue Responses: To the maximum extent permissible under applicable law, you hold commercial rights to use, adapt, and share stories, transcripts, and creative narratives developed through your interactions with Aurytale personas.
- Platform License: You grant Aurytale a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license strictly to process, store, and display your inputs to deliver real-time conversational output and synchronize your memory graphs across your devices.
4. Acceptable Use Policy & Safety Guardrails
To preserve a secure and welcoming creative universe, you agree NOT to utilize Aurytale to prompt, simulate, or disseminate:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content exploiting, endangering, or depicting minors in harmful or illicit situations.
- Non-consensual sexually explicit content, harassment, stalking, or unauthorized synthetic impersonations of real, living individuals without verifiable consent.
- Content intended to incite real-world physical violence, promote self-harm or suicide, or coordinate illegal activities and cyberattacks.
- Automated scrapers, bot attacks, or reverse-engineering tools targeting proprietary model weights, server endpoints, or memory databases.
Violations of these guardrails will result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund, and severe infractions will be referred to relevant authorities.
5. Nature of Conversational AI & Roleplay Disclaimers
Artificial intelligence language models generate dialogue based on statistical associations within neural latent spaces. Consequently:
- Fictional Roleplay Nature: Characters in Aurytale are synthetic AI entities. Statements, advice, and persona opinions expressed by AI companions are purely simulated and fictional. They do not constitute professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial counsel.
- Non-Deterministic Output: AI responses may occasionally exhibit factual errors, hallucinations, or dramatic embellishments inherent to creative storytelling engines.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Aurytale is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. In no event shall Aurytale, its directors, employees, or cloud providers be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.
7. Termination of Access
You may discontinue using Aurytale at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access to any user who engages in malicious activities, circumvents platform protections, or materially breaches these Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to digital internet services, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith mediation or arbitration.
